FENG SHUI TIPS AND CURES
Below you can find all kinds of cures and tips to help you balance out your life with the use of FENG SHUI:

WEALTH & PROSPERITY:

Having elements of water, i.e. waterfalls, ponds, aquariums, fountains in your surroundings promotes greater wealth and blessings.  The flow of water from a tabletop fountain, or a fish tank, can produce a flow of money into your life.

Crystals, mirrors, bamboo, green plants, Chinese coins, a green wind chime, lights, and flowers (both silk and real) are all effective cures for your wealth corner

Drafts should also be cut off as they can carry away money and cause health problems.

Aromatherapy / Essential Oils -  certain oils energize your wealth corner when used daily.

The best colors for your wealth corner are purple and red.

To increase your prosperity, place a mirror on the wall behind your stove, reflecting the burners - traditional symbols of wealth and prosperity.

Place a small mirror in the left hand corner of your desk at work.  This would be the wealth area of your desk.  To further activate this area place a lucky cat or money Buddha on the mirror.  By placing these items on the mirror doubles their effectiveness.  Instead of having one lucky cat, you have two; instead of one money Buddha, you have two.

A green wind chime placed over your kitchen stove helps to activate your career.

MIRRORS:

Mirrors are a Feng Shui cure-all that can attract good chi and deflect bad chi. They can also symbolically double wealth when properly placed.

Mirrors - Round mirrors are best in a bedroom and/or over your bed to create a harmonious, compassionate and understanding relationship.

To reduce stress, place two mirrors opposite each other so that you walk between them as you enter your home or office.

Place a mirror on the wall behind your stove, reflecting the burners - traditional symbols of wealth and prosperity.

If you enter your home and you immediately face a wall, you'll be hitting a wall in life. The incoming chi is limited by the wall and that translates to limited opportunities and obstacles in life. But you can hang a mirror, which attracts energy, on the wall. You'll immediately feel the difference. The mirror will "open up" the room. In Feng Shui dynamics, it is creating more chi.

RELATIONSHIP / ROMANCE:

For better health and more restful sleep, position your bed facing toward the entry so that you have the widest view of the room. You'll be able to receive the maximum incoming chi.

Red and pink can encourage romance.  Add a touch of pink of red into your bedroom to bring more passion into your relationship. This can be candles, red tassels, cushions whatever you feel appropriate to add a splash of passion into your relationship.

Round mirrors are best in a bedroom and/or over your bed to create a harmonious relationship.

Use Aromatherapy Fragrances/ Essential oils - To spice up your love life- An oil burner using sensual essential oils such as Ylang Ylang is a great way of stimulating the southwest energy and activating your sensual juices.

To diffuse the bathroom energy to your bed, place a faceted crystal between the bathroom and your bed.

For peace of mind and body, place your bed and your desk so that you can easily see the door. Avoid being in a direct line with the door.

OTHER FENG SHUI TIPS & CURES:

For clarity, place a brass wind chime just inside your front door.

Don't sit with your back to the entry. You'll be blocking chi and also startled by anyone entering the room. Symbolically, you may be turning your back to life's possibilities. Place your desk so that you have a commanding view of the room. In this position, you'll benefit from the incoming chi and be more productive.

Green, which represents nature and a vital life force, can create a serene environment.

Red, used in Chinese weddings and other celebrations, is a very lucky color. It symbolizes happiness and fame.

Avoid having too much of the same color in a room. For instance, a room in all white or all dark colors can create stagnant chi that can lead to fatigue or depression.

Place plants throughout your home or office - keep them healthy, well-fed and watered. They represent spring and a life force, providing nourishing chi for an environment which makes you feel better.  Plants with round leaves are preferable to other varieties.

Clutter and Debris: Get rid of the old and make room for the new. Less is more!  A cluttered and messy environment keeps energy from flowing properly. Start off by cleaning your home or office and getting rid of anything that is no longer useful.

The main entrance to the house or building is the main mouth of the Chi. This is where symbolically all the Chi enters the building. It is important that the main entrance be clear, open and well defined. Make sure that there is a clear even path to the front door and that the hedges are trimmed back.

Faceted Crystals (Feng Shui crystals need to be round, to fully circulate the chi energy in a particular room.  Hang a faceted crystal on a red string in your windows to increase the positive chi energy in your house.

If your back is to the door or entrance into the kitchen while you are cooking then install a mirror behind the stove. This helps to create a more balanced environment for the chef. The energy of the chef is imparted into the food so for this reason we pay special attention to the stove. Also be sure and rotate your use of each burner as this is important for prosperity.

If anything is in need of repair, simply fix it or throw it away. Windows are the eyes of the Chi (life force energy) and affect ones clarity so replace broken glass panes and clean the windows; plumbing represents our digestive system so repair those leaky faucets and clogged drains; the electrical is our neurological system so tend to your electrical needs; HVAC heating ventilation and air conditioning represents the lungs and breathing so make sure that the ducts are clean and free of bacteria, and replace the standard air filter with a HEPA filter which is much more effective; a sticking door can contribute to tension between partners in the home so ease a tight fit.
.
When starting a new business venture, a new job, or if you want to make a fresh start in your life, hang a green wind chime from the ceiling in the New Beginnings area.
